The Punch as I Recall
Okay I'll probably keep puttiong stuff up as we go along, but right now what's been missing is an actual account of what happened.
So, 11:50, me and about 13 other mates (reetta being the only lass) came out of clapham junction station heading for Ralitza's party. Just as i was leaving the last step and turning on to the street i heard someone ask if i knew where someone or other was. As i turned to face the inquisitor and ask WTF he was talking about -- SUCKAPUNCH straight in the eye!
I stumbled back a few paces, then ran back a few more to get my vision and bearings (if the bastard was gonna have another go i'd have to at least be able to see). I wasn't very drunk and he was a compete stranger we'll call him Radgy Bastard from now on, actually a man deserves his dignity, let's call him Mr Bastard. So Mr Bastard continued to rant on at my mates maybe trying to explain in his radgy way why it was definately me he meant to clock in the glazz, who knows? anyway check out the video if you wanna see how this went down. He continued to rant on in this way for a good ten minutes until the police arrived and arrested him. If his plan was to spend new years in the nick it was a pretty effective one.
So me and reetta went to St Thomas A & E got a little glue on the cut (which should leave a pretty sexy scar) and then had a mandatory but very pleasant day off work.
Mr Bastard however slept in a cell and was probably released on bail yesterday. If he's totally new to punching strangers in the head he may get away with a caution if not he may end up being tried in the crown court. I'll keep you guys up to date with how that stuff goes on.

Barry Got Punched
Happy new year peeps,
Thought I'd build a quick blog about getting punched cause it's a bit more fun than telling the same story again and again and because i think the photos are cool and I'm a bit of an attention seeker :-D
i'll probs add an account pretty soon but just to say, it was a sucker punch from a radgy stranger. i got a cut above my eye (like rocky) and after a bit of glue in A&E i'm feeling pretty fit. At the moment he is still in custody (but i think he might be released on bail soon).
he whacked me just before midnight so we missed the countdown and me and reetta missed the party but that's no biggie.
cheers peeps for hangin around despite my mad rantings. you're all great mates and it was still a pretty cool evening. hope someone got lucky ;-)
